EXTRA-TIME (60+)
Extra-Time is a social wellbeing programme for older adults (over 60 to be precise) designed to reduce loneliness and social isolation by helping participants stay active, connected and engaged within their local community.
We host a range of activities including the likes of light physical activities and gentle armchair exercises, quizzes focused on local history, refreshments (often provided by our attendees) and also occasional sightseeing trips and activities around the local area of Bristol.
Our Extra-Time group offering also extends into creative OPPORTUNTIES. Last year, as part of funding from Sky Bet,
we hosted OUR Inaugural 'Music and Monologues' performance!

EXTRA-TIME (Tuesday, 10-12am)

These sessions begin at 10:00am and are hosted in the Thatchers Stand at the Memorial Stadium. Each week offers a unique activity, including guest speakers from across the UK and sightseeing trips around Bristol.

EXTRA-TIME (Thursday, 12-2pm)

This group focuses more on literature and creative expression. Held at Stoke Gifford Retirement Village, these sessions encourage creativity alongside social connection and a sense of community.

We are a friendly, community-focused group and welcome anyone who meets the criteria to come along and join us, whether they are local to the area or further afield!
